Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright have taken a giant step towards reaching the knockout stage at the Grand Slam of Darts. Both players also won their second round-robin match on Sunday afternoon.

Wright grabbed the points against Max Hopp, who was outscored by the Scotsman. 'Snakebite' played a lot better than Saturday and won 5-2 as he averaged 98 and hit five out nine darts on the double.
Price overcame Glen Durrant after an absolute cracker. The Welshman impressed with seven maximum scores and sharp finishes (56 percent). Nevertheless, 'Duzza' came very close to the victory.
The two-time Lakeside champion had a 4-3 lead after seven legs, but Price hit a stunning 11-dart leg to level the match at 4-4. Finally, 'The Iceman' came through after a leg-decider.
