Wright and Cross not at their best but through in Gelsenkirchen

Peter Wright and Rob Cross are the last two through in Gelsenkirchen but they were not at their best against Dragutin Horvat and Stefan Stoyke respectively.

In terms of Wright though despite him not being at his best it was routine stuff for the defending champion. He saw off Horvat 6-1 meaning it wasn’t a repeat of their clash from last year.
Cross on the other hand averaged 84.4 in a 6-4 victory but it wasn’t the best by any means by the World Champion. He ended up winning with 28% on the doubles and will have to improve tonight against Mensur Suljovic.
