Krzysztof Ratajski has kept his European Championship qualification hopes alive and Ryan Joyce smashed Jermaine Wattimena as the first session of action has concluded at the European Darts Trophy.

Ratajski did so by edging past Steve West in a 6-5 win with a 93 average. ‘The Polish Eagle’ survived a match dart in the contest as well.
Joyce has a more easier route through to the next round with a 6-1 demolition of Jermaine Wattimena. ‘Relentless’ was as his nickname suggests and keeps his record of 100% in first round matches on the Euro Tour this year.
