John Henderson, Gabriel Clemens and Marko Kantele are the next players through to round two of the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen.

Henderson edged past Mark Wilson in a tight clash that either player could have won. The difference was a strong final leg from the Highlander which denied Wilson a maiden European Tour win.
Clemens is the first of the German contingent seeing off Brendan Dolan in a 6-3 win. It was a 92 average for ‘Gaga’ who will hope to end the year the way he begun it where he reached a maiden ranking final.
Finally Kantele came through in a 6-3 victory over another of the Host Nation Qualifiers in Robert Marijanovic. He fired in five 180’s in his win but only claimed the win after six match darts so the complexion of the game could have been different.
