Dave Chisnall claimed his first title in over 18 months and his 13th overall n Sunday by defeating Glen Durrant in the final at Players Championship 2.

Chisnall spoke afterwards and said that he thought he deserved it as a player who never gives up and that he thought he made the most of his chances when he got them. "I played well today and I think I deserved it because I'm one of those players who never gives up," said Chisnall. "I beat James Wade and Jonny Clayton in good games and followed it up with a win over a three-time Lakeside Champion in Glen (Durrant), who is obviously a great player. "Of course, you need a bit of luck to win these tournaments but today I thought I made the most of my chances when I got them and that's what won me this title." for more information about the Pro Tour.
