Results Players Championship 11, Quarter-Finals: Wright vs Clemens & Anderson vs Webster in semi-finals

The semi-final line up at Players Championship 11 has been confirmed and it will see Peter Wright face Gabriel Clemens and Gary Anderson face Darren Webster with an all Scottish final a possibility.
Wright saw off Ricky Evans in a brilliant performance giving ‘Rapid’ no chance and he looks to have found some form again. He will now hope to convert that into a Players Championship title.
Gabriel Clemens like alluded to awaits and the German is looking for his first title in his PDC career. In the other semi-final, it is Darren Webster vs Gary Anderson with both players in great form.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
