Mensur Suljovic held his nerve and survived a late comeback from Peter Wright to claim another victory as the Premier League continues in Manchester.

Suljovic started proceedings by hitting a 144 checkout to clinch the very first leg in a superb start from the Austrian. He hit his first 180 and then a 14 darter to double his lead.
He further extended his lead to 3-0 with a 96 average with Wright's 85 before 'Snakebite' hit back to go 3-1 behind with a 130 checkout on the bull.
'The Gentle' from there though extended his lead to 5-1 but was pegged back to 5-2 by Wright despite Wright only averaging 81.
He continued to claw back legs and made it three legs on the spin by hitting 100 to go to 5-4. Suljovic finally stopped the rot by restoring his two leg cushion and then pushed forward to go 7-5 up and guarantee himself of a point.
Wright came back to make it 7-6 but then secured the win to remain firmly in the running for a play-off space.
