Robert Thornton is ready to go under the radar and shine again he has revealed after a few years in the darting doldrums.

Thornton who is of course a multiple major champion winning the World Grand Prix and UK Open has admitted life took over. For him he believes he still has more to achieve in the game despite him also saying he doesn’t have to prove himself anymore.
“Sometimes life takes over and you have to focus on what is most important” said the world number 31 to Modus Darts.
“Family will always be my priority but darts is important too and I believe that I still have more to achieve in the game.
“I’m dangerous when I’ve not really been on the radar but things have been improving and I don’t need to prove what I am capable of. Nobody should be surprised if I manage to do something special again.”
