Updated European Tour Order of Merit: Wilson and Chisnall likely secure European Championship spots

The latest European Tour event was claimed by Michael van Gerwen but late runs from the likes of Dave Chisnall and James Wilson have likely secured European Championship spots.
Chisnall and Wilson before this past weekend were less than secure but now only multiple runs/wins from players outside the top 32 could really deny them.
Another player who has moved up is Ron Meulenkamp with Ron the Bomb making another European Tour quarter-final. This has brought him up but only to 30th meaning there is still work to do for the Dutchman.
The final two players in are Krzysztof Ratajski and Jan Dekker so like Meulenkamp, they will hope to string a run together to secure their spots fully.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
