While Raymond van Barneveld could play his last Premier League matches this week, Dimitri van den Bergh is going to make his debut in the PDC's showpiece event.

The two-time World Youth Champion is one of the contenders in the Premier League, after Gary Anderson decided to withdraw from the competition due to a back injury. Van den Bergh faces James Wade on Wednesday evening and plans to gain some good experience for the future.
''It's a big experience and I'm going to use it as good as possible. My am is to win there. I'm not nervous at all, I'm just curious'', the Belgian told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
''This is a chance to know what you have to do in the future when you are getting an invite to play the whole Premier League. I'm climbing on the ranking slowly and still improving myself. It's just a matter of time and experience.''
