Van Gerwen after winning 30th European Tour title in Munich: ‘I’m absolutely delighted to retain my title’

Michael van Gerwen claimed a 30th European Tour title in retaining the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich.
Van Gerwen smashed through returning finalist, Simon Whitlock and he spoke of his delight of winning afterwards. Also he spoke about his in his opinion he did the right things at the right time and always felt confident throughout. "I'm absolutely delighted to retain my title here in Munich and clinch a 30th European Tour title," said the Dutchman. "This is a great achievement for me. I wasn't at my best at the start of this evening, but I did the right things at the right times and always felt confident."
