Michael van Gerwen has easily won his second match at the Brisbane Darts Masters. The 29-year-old Dutchman demolished Kyle Anderson 10-3 in the quarter-finals of the World Series event.

The Australian was broken in the second leg with a 132 finish and Van Gerwen moved into a 5-0 lead. Prior to the first break, Anderson somewhat recovered the deficit by coming back to 5-2.
After the break Anderson took another leg, but Van Gerwen stopped the momentum from 'The Original' with a beautiful 140 check-out for 6-3. It then became 9-3 for 'Mighty Mike', after his Australian opponent had missed three darts on the doubles in the twelfth leg.
The world number one started the thirteenth leg and claimed the victory after hitting double 18. Van Gerwen will play compatriot Raymond van Barneveld in the semi-finals on Sunday. The five-time world champion beat Gary Anderson earlier on the day.
