Ricky Evans has reached the final day of the Danish Darts Open after a strong 6-3 win over Daryl Gurney. Rapid Ricky produced a 99 average and hit sixty percent of his darts on the doubles en route to the victory.

Van Gerwen also reached the last 16 at his debut at the Danish Darts Open. The world number one beat Scott Taylor, who reached a Pro Tour final earlier this year.
Rob Cross avoided a scare against Steve Beaton. The reigning world champion was 3-5 down, before he won three legs on the spin. Steve West completed the lineup for the third round after beating Ian White 6-4.
