Justin van Tergouw has pulled out for the final day of the Q-School in Hildesheim. The Dutchman gave up after losing in the third round to Ricardo Pietreczko on Saturday.

On Thursday and Friday he also lost at this stage, and as a result Van Tergouw collected three points after three days. He had needed a tournament win on Sunday to pick up a PDC Tour Card at the Q-School.

Ill ahead of the Q-School

Van Tergouw's team said a flu is the reason for his withdrawal. The two-time BDO World Youth Champion faced a stomach flu ahead of the four-day event in Germany. Yet he decided to travel to Hildesheim last Wednesday.
The same stomach flu ensured that Van Tergouw can't play further at the Q-School. He is not fit enough to play on Sunday and traveled back home to the Netherlands on Saturday.

Next Season
