VIDEO - 25 years of PDC World Championship: Nine-Darters

Everyone loves a nine-darter. Seeing a player achieve perfection on the big stage is something every darts fan relishes. And there is no stage bigger than the PDC World Championship. Seven players have thrown nine perfect legs since Raymond van Barneveld landed the first in 2009.
Barney himself claimed the second, against Brendan Dolan a year later. In 2011, Adrian Lewis became the first - and so far only - player to throw a nine-darter in the final. 2012 was a barren year, so 2013 made up for it with two. First, Dean Winstanley struck gold in a defeat against Vincent van der Voort. Then, Michael van Gerwen went the width away from becoming the first player in history to throw back-to-back perfect legs.
The 2014 World Championships also set a new milestone with two nine-darters in the same round. Amazingly, neither Kyle Anderson nor Terry Jenkins were able to follow them up with first-round victories. Lewis then hit the 'Jackpot' again in 2015 against van Barneveld. Gary Anderson struck the most recent one in his 6-0 semi-final win over Jelle Klaasen in the 2016 championships.
Here's a compilation of all of those nine-darters. Could number ten be hit in the 2018 World Championships?
