Wade started proceedings off with a 5-1 win over Webster after he had ensured his progression already in his second game. He secured top spot in the group as a result with five out of seven on his doubles and a 101.7 average. ‘The Machine’ is now thirteen matches unbeaten and could take some stopping this week.
Anderson similarly had a rout against his opponent Steve Hine also winning 5-1. He averaged 100 in the progress meaning it wasn’t quite as good as the Ian White victory but like Wade is continuing his form.
He will now play Keegan Brown or Wesley Harms in his last 16 clash now his progression has been assured.
