The left-hander came back from 4-0 behind in the final, as De Zwaan missed two darts to move 5-0 up. The Dutchman also missed darts for 5-1 and 6-5. After De Zwaan missed tops to regain the lead in the 11th leg, Wade took out 60 to take the lead for the first time in this match.
A 12-dart leg saw the multiple major winner moving one leg away from victory, before he hit a 15-dart leg to claim his third Pro Tour title within eight days.
The world number nine defeated Luke Woodhouse (6-5), Christian Kist (6-0), Ted Evetts (6-5), Stephen Bunting (6-4) and Jonny Clayton (6-2) to set-up another clash with Michael Smith in the semi-finals. Wade defeated him in his previous two Pro Tour finals and booked another win over Smith to reach the final in Barnsley.
John Henderson reached his first semi-final of the season after defeating the likes of Dirk van Duijvenbode, Justin Pipe and Danny Noppert. Three-time Lakeside champion Glen Durrant made it back-to-back quarter-finals as 'Duzza' lost to De Zwaan. 'The Black Cobra' also beat Tytus Kanik, Jan Dekker, Joe Murnan, Steve Beaton and Henderson en route to his fourth
PDC final.
