Jermaine Wattimena is through to the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship with a straight sets win over Michael Barnard.

He allowed Barnard only four darts at a double hitting three of them while ‘The Machine Gun’ pinned 9/31. Wattimena will go on to face Gary Anderson in the next round in what will be a rapid fire encounter. In the opening set, Barnard missed one set dart and this allowed the Dutchman to clinch it. He continued to strengthen his grip on the match by claiming the set three-one. In the final set, he romped to the win. This included a 130 checkout on the bull as he set up that tie with Anderson. for more information about the PDC World Darts Championship, including schedules and the prize fund breakdown.
