Wattimena whitewashes struggling Brown, Wade eases past Kanik

Jermaine Wattimena only needed six legs to beat Keegan Brown. The former World Youth Champion struggled, as he averaged only 61. The Dutchman finished the game with back-to-back 13-dart legs to book his place in the second round.

James Wade edged out Tytus Kanik 6-2 to book his place in the second round. The eight-time major winner will face Mervyn King on Saturday.
