Webster, Hughes and Cullen through to final day at German Darts Open

The first three ties of the afternoon session on Day Two of the German Darts Open are complete with Darren Webster, Jamie Hughes and Joe Cullen through.

Webster saw off Dutchman, Vincent Van der Meer in a 6-3 victory with a 93 average. He will now face either Ian White or Jeffrey de Zwaan tomorrow who face off later in the session. Hughes saw off Simon Whitlock to make the Last 16 of a European Tour for the first time this season. He saw off ‘The Wizard’ who of course reached the final last time out but it was ‘Yozza’ who will be part of the line up having won 6-4 with five 180’s and a 99 average. Cullen finally smashed through Jerry Hendriks 6–1 who couldn’t continue his excellent return which began yesterday. ‘Rockstar’ closed it out with a 126 checkout and four 180’s.
