Steve Beaton produced a third nine-darter in his career on Friday afternoon and he took a milestone with him as well.

Beaton is now the oldest player to hit a perfect leg in a televised/streamed match but he is not the eldest darts player to throw a perfect leg on the PDC Tour.
John Magowan produced a nine-darter on the floor circuit in August 2008; when he was aged 66 years, ten months and 24 days.
It still remains a hugely impressive achievement from Beaton who keeps rolling back the years.
