Ian White has won his eighth PDC title after defeating Dave Chisnall in the Players Championship 6 final. 'The Diamond' held his nerve in the legdecider, as he broke Chisnall's throw.

White left tops after twelve darts, before hitting a 14-dart leg to claim the title. The 47-year-old beat Keegan Brown, James Wade, John Henderson and Mervyn King earlier on the day to reach the final.
Yesterday's winner, Michael van Gerwen, was beaten by Jermaine Wattimena in the third round. Gary Anderson, who won two Players Championship events this year, lost in the second round to Ricky Evans.
