White has appeared in two previous finals in the past two weeks on the
European Tour but has finally been rewarded for his efforts with an 8-7 win. 'Diamond' claimed the first leg but it kept on throw with Wright making it one a piece soon after. White though soon smashed in a 170 checkout to make it 3-1. This was to no avail though with Wright breaking back to make it 3-2. White regained the lead but was soon pegged back to parity at 4-4. This was the same at 5-5 and 6-6 with it seemingly going all the way. White missed one at tops and it looked like the turning point with Wright punishing to break and to go one away. Wright though missed one match dart and was punished for it with White making sure it was going to go all the way. This proved the turning point with White taking the win from there in a thrilling final in Sindelfingen.
