Simon Whitlock claimed a brilliant comeback victory over Gerwyn Price where he averaged 108.

Price was 4-1 up but lost out in a deciding leg to the Wizard who knocked Glen Durrant out in the process. He also hit two 170 checkouts on the way to the victory in what was described as the whale by the commentary team.
Martin Schindler second of all claimed a big win over Mensur Suljovic winning also in a decider. Despite being eliminated, Schindler made sure he left the group with a bang and also made Suljovic wait for his qualification.
He came through with a 102 checkout in the decider meaning that if Scott Mitchell defeats Bunting, ‘The Gentle’ is out.
