Stephen Bunting smashed Scott Mitchell in a brilliant victory where he moved into the knockout rounds as a result.

Bunting averaged 89 and took advantage of a poor performance from Scotty Dog which means he has an unbeaten record going into the next round.
Mitchell wasted darts at double and paid for it finishing 3rd in the group in the end.
Jim Williams may not be able to progress to the next round but made sure he left his mark at the Grand Slam.
He edged out Max Hopp with a 101 average in a sublime performance from the Welshman.
Also ‘The Quiff’ hit 5/6 on the doubles on his way to the win, Hopp has to now wait on the Payne result to resolve whether he progresses through.
