Simon Whitlock has reached the final at the German Darts Grand Prix after defeating Max Hopp 7-6 on his home soil in Munich.
The Australian fought back from a 6-4 deficit, as he hit a 83 finish and double to level the match in the 12th leg. Whitlock kicked off the decider with a superb 180 and took out 25 for the match after Hopp missed two match-darts.
Michael van Gerwen reached the final earlier this evening after
demolishing Rob Cross 7-1. The Dutchman won this tournament the past two years.
