World Matchplay tickets to go on sale on Thursday February 15

The PDC have announced details of ticket sales for the 2018 World Matchplay.

One of the most anticipated majors in the calendar, the World Matchplay will take place from July 21-29. 32 of the world's best players congregate at the renowned darting shrine of Blackpool's Winter Gardens. Phil Taylor claimed his 16th and final Matchplay title last year, defeating Peter Wright in the final. The 2018 crowd will compete for the newly-renamed Phil Taylor Trophy. Michael van Gerwen, the Masters champion, will be the overwhelming favourite.
Ticket details for the tournament have been released in full by the PDC. Priority Sale begins on Thursday 15 February. Annual subscribers to PDC TV are eligible to claim tickets ahead of general sale. Tickets then go on sale to the wider public four days later, on Monday 19 February. Balcony or standing tickets range from £26 to £46, the price to view the final at the Winter Gardens. Table prices start from £31 from days two to six, and go up to £51 per head for the final.
