The final games in the second round at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead have been completed with Peter Wright and Krzysztof Ratajski both through.

Wright has admitted by his own standards that he hasn’t been playing well but put in a good performance against Max Hopp. Averaging 93 with 55% on his doubles claimed him a brilliant 6-2 win.
The final game on the main stage for the afternoon session saw Krzysztof Ratajski take on Adrian Lewis in a game that had been moved from Stage Two.
Ratajski produced a stunning comeback though meaning it was worthy of being moved. ‘The Polish Eagle’ went 3-1 down but soared to the win reeling off five straight legs akin to his win vs Gerwyn Price yesterday. He will play Danny Noppert later.
On Stage Two, Jonny Clayton saw off Michael Smith in a clash that went to a deciding leg. He survived one match dart from the ‘Bully Boy’ but he himself missed six before pinning 80 in the decider.
Then Joe Cullen ended proceedings with a 6-4 win over Steve Beaton. He hit five 180’s on the way to a good win and he sets up a rematch from the World Matchplay with Gary Anderson later in the process.
