Anderson and Van Gerwen ease through to Last 16 with ton plus averages

Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen have both moved through in style smashing in ton plus averages in their respective wins.

Anderson had a tough opponent in Whitlock but made light work of him in a 6-1 victory. He averaged 105.53, hit five 180’s and fifty percent of his doubles on his way to the win.
Van Gerwen similarly played well hitting a 106 average with four 180’s and six out of ten of his doubles. He claimed a 6-1 win over Keegan Brown and like Anderson showed he is definitely one of the players to beat this weekend.
Brendan Dolan and Danny Noppert are also through on stage two with ‘The History Maker’ having a comfortable win over top seed Ian White. Noppert on the other hand edged past Mervyn King, who missed one match dart in the decider.
