Ritchie takes lead in Group B during fifth week MODUS League

Greg Ritchie has taken the lead in Group B during the fifth week of the MODUS Online Live League after finishing Thursday morning unbeaten.

Ritchie consecutively defeated Barrie Bates (4-0), Jamie Clark (4-1), Mike Gillet (4-3), Conan Whitehead (4-1) and Dave Parletti (4-0).

Gillet, Whitehead and Clark each finished on three victories and seem to be looking to compete for second place on Friday.

The players of this group play against each other on Thursday and Friday afternoon. The numbers one and two of this group then go to the final group on Saturday.

In the evening sessions, Richie Burnett, Nathan Girvan, Alan Norris, Cameron Menzies and Darren Beveridge play against each other twice. Also in this group there are two places available for Saturday. Kevin Burness already qualified for this final group by winning the first group of this week.

Unlike the first edition of the MODUS League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
