In the run-up to the resumption of Premier League Darts action on April 19, DartsNews takes a look back on how a player has started this year's tournament with Jonny Clayton the first to receive the spotlight.
Clayton has made an excellent start to the Premier League Darts and is the leader after five nights. This is no surprise given Clayton's form this season.

'The Ferret' won The Masters at the end of January which was his first major title, he has also reached four finals on the ProTour, two of which he won.
The World Number 18 then started the Premier League with a brilliant draw against Peter Wright. He averaged 105.56 but didn't claim two points with Wright not missing a single dart at doubles.
This was followed by two victories against Glen Durrant (7-3) and José de Sousa (7-3) respectively. Against De Sousa, he averaged over 105 and hit a nine-darter.
His off-day against Rob Cross came as a surprise a day later. The Ferret suffered his first defeat of the league against Cross. Clayton, however, closed the block positively with a 7-4 triumph against Gary Anderson.
With seven points from five games, Clayton can look back on a great start as a debutant. Although Clayton is only three points above the drop zone, no one has any doubts that the Welshman will still be in the competition after Judgment Night. That overall is quite an achievement after five rounds of play.
