Thornton books spot in final after winning Online Darts League Group A

Robert Thornton is into the final of the opening week of Phase Four of the Online Darts League after finishing top of Group A on 22 points.
Thornton finished proceedings with 11 points and only four defeats over the three days ahead of Matthew Dennant and Robert Owen who were on 18 points respectively.
They will play a new group against three new players on Thursday evening and Friday evening. This is Jamie Kelling, Rob Collins and Deta Hedman.
While, James Richardson, Richard North and Sean Fisher of the ranking on Wednesday will also play a new group against new participants. In this group, Nick Fullwell, Stephen Burton and Anastasia Dobromyslova are the entrants.
They will be in action on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. Three players from the evening group go through to the final and two from the morning group, so that the final consists of six players.
Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
