Ian White took the title at the Zwaantje Masters in Eindhoven on Saturday night under the watchful eye of many in attendance. This event could be held for the first time since 2019 after being delayed due to COVID-19.

The event kicked off on Friday evening with a sponsor night. Here, guests could have a drink and a chat with top players Vincent van der Voort, Mervyn King, Ian White, Kevin Painter and Jermaine Wattimena. The players also did some legs with (pairs) and against the audience and took some time for some selfies.

The serious work was set for Saturday. The Zwaantje Masters started with 42 players, divided in seven groups of six players each. Besides the players mentioned above, also Martijn Kleermaker, Jeffrey de Zwaan, Berry van Peer, Luc Peters, Wesley Harms, Richard Veenstra, Jerry Hendriks, Brian Raman and Danny van Trijp competed.

In the end White, Alexander Merkx, Wattimena and Kleermaker qualified for the semi-finals. From that moment on, the format was changed from a leg format to a set format.

White won in the first semifinal 2-0 in sets against Merkx, while Wattimena won 2-0 against Kleermaker. The final was then decided after five sets. White defeated Wattimena 3-2 and became the successor of Kim Huybrechts as winner of the Zwaantje Masters.
