Lex Paeshuyse has crowned himself the winner of the JDC World Darts Championship. At the Alexandra Palace, the 13-year-old player managed to win the final, making him the successor to Luke Littler.

For years, the finals of the JDC World Championship have been played in Ally Pally. The greatest talents aged 10 to 17 played the preliminary rounds of the World Championship last month. There, Paeshuyse and his opponent Daniel Stephenson came out on top.

Paeshuyse was also in action earlier this month at the WDF Youth World Championship at Lakeside, where he managed to reach the semi-finals. This time he was able to take home the cup.

Under the watchful eye of Dimitri van den Bergh and Luke Littler, Paeshuyse managed to hold his throw before Stephenson made it 1-1. Paeshuyse then took the lead again by throwing out 46 and then moved into a 3-1 lead via double 16.

The lead was then extended by Paeshuyse to 4-1, leaving him needing just one more leg for the JDC world title. With a fine 86 finish on the bullseye, Paeshuyse then finished it off. His average finished at 90.85, while he also barely missed an arrow on the double.
