16-year-old darting prodigy Littler certain of PDC Tour Card and spot at World Darts Championship

Top talent Luke Littler will compete with the absolute world's best on the PDC circuit almost every week for the next two seasons. 'The Nuke' secured a PDC Tour Card and a spot at the World Darts Championship on Friday.

Littler has developed at breakneck speed in recent years. In 2021, Littler made headlines for the first time by winning his first senior title at the WDF Irish Open at the age of 14. Thanks to this final victory, he also qualified for the 2022 WDF World Championship. In 2022, he also became world champion at the JDC and won the World Youth Masters.

In 2023, he already took the next step. He was allowed to join the PDC Development Tour for the first time and already managed to capture four titles in his debut year. Because of these achievements, Littler nestled himself at the top of the rankings and thus qualified for the World Darts Championship and thus grabbed a PDC Tour Card for 2024 and 2025.

Incidentally, Littler also impressed this year during the MODUS Super Series, a weekly darts competition for darters without a PDC Tour Card. The 16-year-old Littler managed to win the past two MODUS Super Series seasons, earning a top prize of 20,000 pounds each time.
