16-year-old rising star Ryan Branley has sealed the seventh PDC Development Tour event of the season edging out Tour Card holder Dominik Gruellich in the final.
Branley saw off Jenson Walker, Viktor Tingstrom, Patrik Williams and Mason Whitlock in the latter stages. He made headlines for his success on the JDC Tour as well as playing the Winmau World Masters in January and a historic MODUS SUper Series debut.
A true star in the making as he makes further strides as a PDC title winner. Beau Greaves who leads by some distance on the tour lost in the Last 64 being defeated by one of her closest competitors in Cam Crabtree.
The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players ages 16 through 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to compete.
At each Development Tour tournament there is a prize pool of 15,000 pounds to be divided. With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2026 and 2027. The ranking winner also gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts.
