PDC Development Tour Order of Merit Update: Beau Greaves takes huge lead after third tournament win

Beau Greaves has significantly increased her lead on the PDC Development Tour Order of Merit. After seven tournaments, she has already earned double the prize money of second ranked player.

The 21-year-old managed to post her third tournament victory of the season on Friday afternoon at Development Tour 6. Later in the day, she lost at the seventh tournament to the last 32. It brought her total to 7950 pounds, while number two Owen Bates stands at just 3800 pounds.

The battle for second place is a lot more exciting, as behind Bates follow, among others, Charlie Manby (3,600 pounds), Bradly Roes (3,575 pounds), Sebastian Bialecki (3,400 pounds), Ryan Branley (3,200 pounds) and Cam Crabtree (3,100 pounds) by a small margin. Saturday, the Development Tour circuit continues with the eighth and ninth tournaments of the season.

The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players ages 16 through 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to compete and aren't in the top 64.

At each Development Tour tournament there is a prize pool of 15,000 pounds to be divided. With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2026 and 2027. The ranking winner also gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts.
