The Quarter-Final draw for the 2020 UK Open has been confirmed with the Order of Play reflecting that of the draw with all matches set to take place on the Main Stage tomorrow.
It all kicks off with Dimitri van den Bergh against Gerwyn Price. Van den Bergh has seen off Matthew Edgar and Kyle McKinstry today to move through; he will have his toughest test yet against 'The Iceman' who claimed brilliant wins over Ricky Evans and Gabriel Clemens to reach this point; he will be second tournament favourite now.
Then it is the tournament favourite and a player who is starting to look very ominous in Michael van Gerwen, after surviving somewhat against Jason Lowe, he came back and
blasted through James Wade and now he will have Rob Cross.
Cross has not been at his best as of late but has shown his true metal in this tournament - at the place which started his PDC exploits and he will hope to conjure up some magic to deny the World Number One the chance to get one step closer to his first title of the season.
Then it is Daryl Gurney versus Jelle Klaasen. For the former he
defeated Peter Wright in the final game of the night as he dumped the World Champion out; he has another one in the next round in 'The Cobra'.
He has been excellent this weekend and has shown a real resurgent side to his game to reach his first TV Quarter-Final since 2016; he will hope to take that through to a game that could be a cracker.
As could Jamie Hughes and Jonny Clayton. Despite the latter's
nine-dart heroics, these two have done their business mostly away from the big stage and have played really well in grinding out results. For both though if they reach their top level, we could see game of the session.
