The European Darts Matchplay took place this past weekend in Trier with the ninth European Tour event of the season which has been summarised in numbers by statistician, Philipp Wolff.
In terms of an overall tournament average, it was 92.75 throughout with 10 ton plus averages in all, best being Dimitri van den Bergh's effort of 110+.
In terms of darts thrown, it sat at 12,583 with 215 180's and 238 scores of 171 or more. Checkout percentage sat at 35.56%, while ton plus checkouts were 49 in all. Deciding legs were 11 which showed the closeness of the tournament which was won by Luke Humphries.
