2023 Premier League Darts dates in Liverpool and Brighton swapped due to Eurovision Song Contest

The 2023 Premier League Darts schedule has been altered slightly after Liverpool was confirmed as the host city for next year's Eurovision Song Contest.

As a result, it will swap its initial date with Brighton meaning it will now host on Thursday March 9 with the latter now going on April 23 using the announcement effectively to minimise issues before tickets go on sale.

"We were aware that the location of the Eurovision Song Contest could impact our planned Cazoo Premier League schedule, and had held initial conversations with the M&S Bank Arena with regards to a contingency plan," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

"Following Friday's announcement that Liverpool will host the Eurovision Song Contest we have been able to move quickly to finalise the new dates for 2023.

"Both the M&S Bank Arena and The Brighton Centre have been very co-operative throughout the process and we look forward to returning to these popular venues next year."
