2023 World Series of Darts schedule confirmed including Bahrain debut in January

From Muswell Hill to the Middle East, the World Series of Darts will begin its 2023 schedule in January with a trip to Bahrain with the schedule of tournaments confirmed on Monday evening.
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) alongside sports promoter, CBX has teamed up to bring the PDC to Bahrain on a multi year agreement with two days of action.
World Champion, Peter Wright and World Number One, Gerwyn Price are confirmed to be involved alongside eight regional representatives including players from Bahrain.
It will be played out in a specially designed format inside the Entertainment Dome at the circuit and is set for January 12-13, 2023 so only a week after the World Championship and adds a new dimension to a schedule which usually only comprises the Masters as TV darts for the top players.
But not only will the Bahrain Darts Masters be held but the PDC's annual trip to Copenhagen for the Nordic Darts Masters is also set for January 20-21 meaning a stacked calendar to begin proceedings.
Also confirmed was the return to Madison Square Garden for the US Darts Masters which was a real success this year and saw Michael Smith lift the title.
New Zealand will begin the PDC's annual trip Down Under with the NZ Darts Masters in Hamilton with Wollongong also confirmed to end proceedings before the World Series of Darts Finals takes place again between September 15-17 at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
