Greaves whitewashes Ashton to claim England Classic title, Owen continues form to seal Men's title

Robert Owen and Beau Greaves won the singles tournaments at the England Classic in Ilfracombe last weekend.

Owen took the win in the men's event. The Welshman defeated the likes of Ryan Hogarth (4-2), Graham Jenkins (4-1), Paul Mitchell (4-1), Graham Hall (5-3) and Dan Perry (6-5) on his way to the title.

In the ladies, the title went convincingly to Greaves, who won 5-0 over Lisa Ashton in the final. Before that, Greaves had already grabbed wins against Jane Monaghan (4-1), Eleanor Cairns (4-0) and Maria O'Brien (4-1), among others.
