28 nationalities set to compete at 2020 PDC World Championship

28 countries will be represented at the 2020 PDC World Championship, it has been revealed.

This number is World Championship record-equalling and in a lot of cases shows the improving standard over the past few years in these countries.

England have the most players as expected with 37; flanked by Rob Cross, Michael Smith and James Wade.

Netherlands are next up with 11; with of course Michael Van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld the main players.

Australia and Republic of Ireland follow with four a piece; while Scotland have three.

Also there is representation from countries such as Slovenia, Singapore, Latvia and India; giving it a real World Championship feel.
