Adrian Lewis has been making more appearances at exhibition tournaments this year, consistently demonstrating that he is still an exceptional darts player. This weekend, he also won both of his exhibition matches at an event in Ipswich.
The promoter, MODUS Darts, organized an event on Friday as part of the 'A Night at the Darts' series at the Ipswich Corn Exchange, which attracted hundreds of fans eager to watch some top players in action.
A total of six well-known darts players were booked for the event. In addition to Lewis, former world champion Rob Cross, former youth world champion Josh Rock, former major winner Kevin Painter, and Tour Card holders Stephen Burton and Ryan Meikle were also part of the lineup.
In total, five matches were played. Rock and Burton faced each other twice. Burton won their first encounter 3-1, but Rock got his revenge in the second match, beating the Englishman 4-1.
Lewis took to the stage twice. He opened the evening with a match against Kevin Painter, which he won 3-1. Later in the evening, Lewis also played against Cross. That match ended in a 5-2 victory for Lewis. In between, Cross had won his match against Ryan Meikle 3-2.
