Gerwyn Price continues to impress at the Grand Slam of Darts. 'The Iceman' beat Gian van Veen 5-1 in his final group match with a performance somewhere close to his blistering best.
Price posted an impressive average of over 112, the ninth highest in the history of the Grand Slam of Darts. "All through that game I had a twitch in my eye. It would come and go which was a bit frustrating," laughed Price post-match to Sky Sports.

"Usually it goes away a bit quicker but this time it was hanging around," he continues. When the reporter asked if without the eye twitch he could have been even better? "Yes I know, I was thinking that!" Price responds with a laugh.
Still, the 38-year-old Welshman does not want to get too excited just yet. "Fingers crossed but I'm not going to jinx it. I played brilliant yesterday, I played brilliant today but Wednesday is a different day an everything could change."
