Allen concludes clean sweep to win Darts at Home: Sportsman Special

The latest PDC Darts at Home special has been won by heavyweight boxer Dave Allen who claimed a clean sweep from his three games on Saturday afternoon.

Allen claimed victory over Mark Selby (2-0) where he dismissed his chances from the offset only to be clinical on his doubles to ease through.

‘The White Rhino’ is known as a fans favourite in boxing and brought some trash talking saying he won't be happy with his own performance unless he averages 80 against Alex Hales.

This worked with Allen seeing off the England cricketer 2-0 with only Andrew Johnston to go. ‘Beef’ led but missed loads of match darts to throw the group open allowing ‘The Doncaster De La Hoya’ a route to the title.
