The first day of the PDC Europe German Super League was concluded on Saturday with Gabriel Clemens leading the way in pursuit of the PDC World Championship.

Streamed on both German TV and PDCTV, it saw the first glimpse of what could be the new normal with the players playing in person but having to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

It was ‘The German Giant’ though who used his higher ranking and won all four games to lead. This saw wins over Kai Gotthardt (6-3), Jens Kniest (6-0), Sascha Stein (6-2) and Steffen Siepmann (6-3).

Siepmann sits just behind on six points with Sascha Stein third on leg difference and Michael Unterbuchner also in the top five. The action continues later today in Group A.
