Gary Anderson has neared confirming his Premier League play-off spot with an 8-2 victory over Michael Smith and he was pleased to get over the line.
Anderson said that the pressure was there for Smith and that as a result, it made it all the more difficult; but he hopes now to use this as a catalyst for success in the remainder of the Premier League.
"It wasn't the greatest game tonight but obviously I'm happy to rack up another win," said Anderson after winning his fifth game in six matches.
"There was a lot of pressure on Michael tonight. It's always hard playing against a friend but you've got to do what you've got to do. I've got another two games to go, hopefully I can keep this standard up and keep the winning feeling going."
