Anderson looks ahead to facing Price again at Grand Slam of Darts: 'I will be doing my absolute best on Saturday night'

Gary Anderson came through a tough test against Robert Thornton to move through to a repeat of his infamous tie with Gerwyn Price in the Quarter-Finals of the Grand Slam of Darts.

Anderson reflected on the game and said that he felt good in patches but that every time at the moment that he practices well it is completely different in practice.

He added about facing Price that he brings the best out of him and that he will be doing his absolute best to gain revenge on him on Saturday night.

“I felt good again in patches today but every time I play well in practice it’s completely different on the board.

“The way I’m going at the moment I have no idea what’s going to come out but I can guarantee you that I will be doing my absolute best on Saturday night,” said Anderson.

“We’ll see how we go but hopefully he brings the best out of me. I’ll be giving everything so let’s see what happens.”
