Price reflects after easing into Grand Slam of Darts Quarter-Finals: 'I'm really happy to get the job done'

Gerwyn Price surged into the Grand Slam of Darts Quarter-Finals after victory over Darren Webster 10-1 as he continues the defence of his title.

Next up for Price is a repeat of his infamous tie with Gary Anderson last year and for 'The Iceman', he said to be told he is ruthless by Webster is a massive compliment.

As well that he is really glad to be in the latter stages in Wolverhampton; a place which holds great memories for him.

“Darren was a bit flat tonight but I still had a job to do and I’m really glad I played well," said Price.

“He told me I was ruthless and I take that as a massive compliment because he is a class player.

"I’m really happy to get the job done and be in the quarter-finals."
